HEALTHWATCH HACKNEY

Hi Hackney Dads,

Happy New Year! We’re excited to kick off 2025 with fresh energy and share the latest updates from the Father Friendly Borough Project. As always, our mission is to create inclusive spaces for fathers and offer support throughout your journey in fatherhood.

This month, we’re focusing on new beginnings and fresh opportunities. Whether you’re setting personal goals, looking for fun activities to enjoy with your children, or simply seeking resources to support you, we’re here to help.

As a father or a significant male figure in a child’s life, this newsletter will keep you informed about our project milestones, local events in Hackney to enjoy with your family, and opportunities for free training and personal development.

Let’s start the year strong-together!

Become a Father Friendly Champion

Your experience as a dad matters. You’ve navigated the highs and challenges of fatherhood, and your insight can help us create better support for dads across Hackney. By becoming an expert by experience (EbE), you’ll play a key role in shaping services that truly work for fathers, expectant dads, and male caregivers.

This isn’t just about making change; it’s about leading it. From starting local dad groups or coffee mornings to opening spaces for fathers in your community, we’ll give you the tools to make an impact where it matters most.

Free, short training sessions kick off this January, with more in February. These sessions are your first step towards becoming a Champion for dads in Hackney.
Your voice is the missing piece.

Click below to sign up, learn more, or ask any questions; we can’t wait to work with you!
