Celebrating Excellence: Latimer Health Centre's Nursing Team Wins at London General Practice Awards

We are delighted to congratulate our exceptional nursing team at Latimer Health Centre for their well-deserved victory at this year’s London General Practice Awards. Their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to patient care have earned them this prestigious recognition, highlighting their invaluable contributions to the healthcare community.

The London General Practice Awards celebrate excellence in primary care, acknowledging outstanding individuals and teams who go above and beyond in delivering quality healthcare services. This year, the nursing team at Latimer Health Centre was awarded The General Practice Nursing Team Award for Outstanding Contribution to Patient Care and Practice Team Collaboration. Their exemplary clinical skills, innovation in patient care, and compassionate approach have made a tangible difference in the lives of their patients.

This achievement is a testament to the team’s hard work, resilience, and dedication to continuous improvement. From delivering exceptional patient support to spearheading community health initiatives, their efforts have not only enhanced the quality of care but also strengthened trust within the community they serve.

Dr Haren Patel, Clinical Lead at Latimer Health Centre, expressed immense pride in the team’s accomplishment: “Our nursing team embodies the core values of patient-centred care, professionalism, and teamwork. This award is a recognition of their tireless efforts and commitment to making a positive impact on our patients’ lives. We couldn’t be prouder of their achievement.”

The award reaffirms the importance of dedication, compassion, and innovation in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

NEW PRACTICE ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Latimer Health Centre is delighted to announce that Dr. Hayley Sherratt will be joining us as a Partner starting in January 2025. In addition to her role as a GP, Dr. Sherratt is a qualified GP Trainer, which means from February 2025 we will be a training practice for GP Registrars. These are fully qualified, experienced doctors who are gaining further expertise in General Practice. GP Registrars typically have longer appointment times and are supervised by the Partners.

As part of our commitment to continuous professional development, some doctors may occasionally video their consultations. We will always seek your consent beforehand, and you have the option to decline if you prefer.

We are also thrilled to share that another of our brilliant GP Partners, Dr. Reshma Shah, is now fully qualified in Minor Surgery and is offering this service at the practice. If you have any concerns about lumps or bumps, please feel free to book a consultation with her.

Finally, we now have an Instagram page for all our latest updates! Follow us at @latimerhealthcentre.
